Omega Prep Academy is the Best Post Graduation Program in Georgia!
Everybody needs an opportunity; at Omega Prep, we provide that for all our student-athletes. We are a semester-long program that will improve your talents and increase your academics so we can showcase them to colleges and universities across the country.
We are STUDENT-Athletes
Your athletic ability can only take you so far. As a STUDENT-athlete your academics come first! We look at your GPA and ACT scores to see if you qualify to play at the next level.
If you are NOT QUALIFIED = no worries! We work with you to improve your GPA and ACT in order for you to qualify to play at the next level. We improve your high school GPA or test score through our ACT prep and credit recovery classes. You can take online college courses through a local intuition if you wish.
To become an ELITE athlete
Our facilities are some of the best in prep schools around the country! We set goals for our athletes and achieve them. To do that we play the best prep academies in the country, junior colleges, and four-year intuitions. We give you the college experience for a shorter amount of time and at an affordable cost.
Omega Prep Academy Founders
The Tarrants
INTRODUCTION:
Omega Preparatory Academy was founded in December 2021 by Sean and Rhonda Tarrant of Lithonia, Georgia. We are located in the metro Atlanta area near Georgia Tech and Georgia State in Atlanta,Georgia. The principles of our program are to extend the opportunity for student-athletes to excel in a positive environment guided by discipline, rigor, and the development of the whole person.
MISSION:
Omega Prep Academy will provide mentoring through leadership and education. To develop community leaders that are spiritually motivated to create unlimited possibilities that will help to heighten exposure to enter a four-year academic institution of learning.
VISION:
To create an effective 21st Century world-class
post-graduate system that impacts, engages, and prepares student-athletes educationally, socially, mentally, and spiritually to be competitive in college athletics and beyond.
Administrative Staff
Our Head Football Coach
Head Coach Sean Tarrant
Coach Tarrant is a native of Detroit, Michigan. “Coach T” as many of his players have called him.
Coach Tarrant has coached football on many levels for over 35 years. His coaching experience ranges from high school to semi-pro teams. He spent four seasons with the MIAA Division II Lincoln University football team. At Lincoln, he split his coaching time between the linebackers and the running backs, during his four year run there.
Coach Tarrant was named National Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2012! In 2009, his high school team conquered the Christian School National Championship! That year the team finished with a 12-0 record!!
In 2023, Coach Tarrant was able to send 30 out of 33 student/athletes on to further their education by means of football scholarships across the United States. Also, during the 2023, CoachT coached his 100th game win.
During the 2024 season, the Omega Prep Bulldogs football team was named the conference champions as well as the regular season champions with a season record of 7-3. Thirty five players began the season and twenty-nine are in college or will be college bound in June 2025.
From 2013-21 Coach T coached at Champion Prep Academy/Georgia Prep Academy, one of the nation’s best Post Graduate Programs in the U.S. Coach T has placed over Three-hundred student-athletes in a College/University Program in the past 12 years!!
